PASTOR RICHARD SCHOENLEBER
Pastor Schoenleber was born January 31, 1954 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. On May 21, 1977, he married Ruth de Haan in Chatham, New Jersey. In 1975, he received a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He received his M.Div. from the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg, Pa in 1979. In 1983 he received his Ph.D. from the University of Iowa.
He did his Clinical Pastoral Education at St. Luke's Hospital, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, 1976. He was an intern pastor at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, 1979-1983. He was a research and teaching assistant at the University of Iowa, 1979-1983. From 1983-1992, he was pastor at St. John Lutheran Church, New Florence, Pennsylvania and Zion Lutheran Church, Robinson Pennsylvania. From 1992-2002, he was pastor at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, McKee Rocks, Pennsylvania. He is currently the pastor of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Pine Grove, Pennsylvania.
